Get the free desktop app from apps.ankiweb.net (Windows, macOS, Linux). New to Anki? Our getting-started guide walks through it.

02

Import the deck

Download the .apkg below, then double-click it or choose File → Import in Anki. The six sub-decks appear under one parent deck.

03

Study Core first

Start with the Core sub-deck and work down. The most common words give the fastest jump in reading comprehension.

Go further

Turn a word list into fluency.

A deck and a frequency list are a great start. Lector turns them into a full course — read real Afrikaans with tap-to-translate, drill the same frequency-ordered words with cloze, and mine your own cards straight into Anki.
